Et vale la ditta polvere del fegato del lupo, cioe fatto seccare e trito et preso con vino dolce e utile ad ogni distemperanza. Modo di preservare il sopra detto fegato del lupo quando e fatto in polvere a tempi de bisogni che longamente duri chel non se tarli. Mettila in una scattolina con drento 3 o 4 cime de assenzo et tienla in cassa e mai non si guastera et lo adopera ali dolori colici.
