My rule was always to serve each
Well from my kind nature,

It makes a hundred ill,
I say I do not want this.
I have proven it to my misfortune
In lending books expecting security.
I say that I am a martyr for lending them.
Sometimes certain people
Remove pages or mark them.
They respond to a favor with destruction.
Since they speak in my language,
I hope to be understood by them,
So that friends are not rejected.
My heart seems to speak to me,
‘Take care, my companion, what you say
