Outfitters to the men of KU and Lawrence since 1950 843-5755 839 Massachusetts 20-year-old KU junior dies A 20-year-old KU student was found dead early yesterday morning in a wooded area south of the la fraternity house, 1111 W. 11th St. A memorial service will be con-ducted at 7 p.m. today at the St Lawrence Catholic Center, 1631 Crescent Road. The student, Glenn D. Franklin, Chicago junior majoring in pre-business was a member of the fraternity. The office has ruled the death a suicide. By a Kansan reporter Franklin attended services regularly at the St. Lawrence Center. A friend said he was an avid wrestler and participated in intramural wrestling. Fraternity members declined to comment. The funeral will be Saturday at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. He is survived by his parents, Paul Margaret and Pierre Margaret, a barge captain of the Air Force Corps, and Paul B., 23, of Phi Delta Pi and sister Margaret, 25, of New York. KU fine arts student, 26, dies By Laura Woodward Kansan staff writer A University of Kansas foreign student died Sunday when he apparently committed suicide, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. Oscen Sikaenjah, 26, of 1511 W 224 Terrace, was a third-year line art student majoring in industrial design. He was from Denmark. Brown said the home was near the town of Stanley. Lt. Jim Brown of the sheriff office said that skjager apparently hanged himself. A police officer was dispatched at 10:18 a.m. to the scene Lt. Larry Jones said that a friend found lskjaar behind a residence, 3711 W. 171st St., in rural Johnson County. Iskjaer was pronounced dead at the scene and was not taken to a hospital. Gene Ames, of the Amos Funeral Home on Johnson Drive in Shawnee, said there would be a cremation and no services. where he has since been a student. Brown said that the coroner had filed a report on the circumstances regarding Iskjer's death, but that it was not available. Clark Coan, director of the foreign student office, said that kajser first year had a lot of experiences about two years later, he returned to the school fall of 1986. kajser returned to KU. Swiss Swider, Northbrook, III, senior was one of Iskjær's classmates earlier this semester in an interior planning and design class. "He was kind of quiet, but he was a nice guy." Swifter said. "He seemed like he was really into the class, but he knew I knew, he dropped it. I think he much relied on do with all of his other classes. I seen him in a couple of weeks."
