Damage was estimated at $150. KU police are investigating multiple fire alarms at McCollum Hall this semester. Someone lit a bottle rocket at about 9:35 p.m. Friday on the hall's fourth floor, police said. The firecracker set off a smoke detector, but no damage or injuries were reported. A KU student's car was broken into about 7 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Ohio Street, Lawrence police reported. Police said a wallet and cash valued at $280 were stolen.
