"We gave the police our proposals," he said, "and they've had them for a couple of years."
The city contract with policemen has the same negotiations deadline and impasse date as the firefighters. However, McFall said the city had not come as close to an agreement with police as it had with the firemen because the city had not received any answer to its offer.
