City to vote on sign rule
The Lawrence City Commission will vote on amendments to the city's sign and alarm ordinances tonight in. weekly meeting at 7.
The sign ordinance, according to city commissioners, will directly affect 25 to 40 signs in Lawrence. It will prohibit the use of "unauthorized" signs that are placed on the outside of any building.
The meeting will be in the fourth floor conference room of the First National Bank Tower, 910 Massachusetts St.
The commission also will consider a recommendation on the East Lawrence Center bids and review bids for six housing rehabilitation projects.
