Anti-theft advice is offered The detective, Jeanne Longaker, said them should take stereos, televisions or cables. The police also should be notified when an apartment or room will be vacant and if a fire alarm is on. "If a vehicle is left on campus, it should be locked and the KU police notified," she said. KU police then would check on the vehicle during patrols, she said.
