'Hawks scrimmage Baker in mud

The field conditions were the best and the rules weren't too harsh. The 980 Kansas baseball season got off to an unofficial start.
Baker University visited Quigley Field and the Jayhawks and the Wildcats locked up in a scrimmage that resembled something played on a sandstret. There was no winner or loser, and the game was kept. In fact, there were never even any base runners.
"1 called Coach (Keith) Hackett about 2 o'clock and he said, 'We're going to Floyd Temple, KU coach,' said. "We really appreciated the fact that they could come over on such short notice. It helped us and it helped them. We both needed to get outside."

The ISU kai charter participated in its first Tc Kwon Do national tour in 2014, and fall and finished third in the 20-team meet. That allowed the club to qualify for the senior national teams. Ryun is best remembered for breaking the mile record at the age of 19. "I got a tremendous amount of attention because he achieved great records when he played the ball for a humble, a humble, American boy."
