Dorm Shelved Private financiers, under the nom de plume of Jayhawk Investments Inc., shelved plans for another private dormitory near the corner of 15th and Engel Road. Instead, they said they would build a split-level apartment complex on the site. Failure of the first privately-financed dorm, Naismith Hall, to fill last year plus the student migration Daily Kansan 14 to apartments prompted the change.
