Athletic Board to Discuss Increase in Ticket Prices A special meeting of the University of Kansas Athletic Board has been called to recount recent increases in student sports. A date for the meeting hasn't been set. The meeting was requested yesterday by three student members of the board, according to John Beisner, Salina junior and student body president. Transeducation Poll Suggested A poll on transduction should be taken by the Academic Affairs Committee, according to Todd Hunter, Oklahoma City junior and student body vice president. Hunter suggested the poll at a meeting of the Governors Room of the Kansas Union. Hunter explained transduction was a way for University of Kansas students to study at other American universities. This system would allow a student to study for a semester or a year at another school and see how he liked it. Hunter said. The KU student attending another college would pay KU tuition, Hunter said, and would need the approval of the hunter of his school. Under Athletic Corporation bylaws, Beisner said, any three members of the board can call a special meeting, which must be held within three weekdays of the Beiser, an ex officio member of the board, said there was a good chance the student ticket prices would be reduced because of new statistics compiled by his office. He said a different picture of the course and students will be presented at this meeting.
