Steve Hood, Topeka senior, saw Bria娜 Barron, Lawrence senior, the moment he entered The Music Exchange in Westport, Mo. The large dusty store was filled with records, but Hood had one thing on his mind: the small, cute girl with red hair and no freckles. Barron noticed him too, but as "one of those cute Westport boys who were kind of off limits." Hood approached her after 45 minutes of contemplation saying, "I've been trying to think of something to say to you since I got here, but I couldn't ... so, my name's Steve."
