Why do i fear black and white reality,
Sharp edges, bright lights?
The lines and creases show
Betray unhidden emotion that i want no one
To see.
False illumination shows true hope
In eyes that light and sparkle
With innocence.
Lips can lie, distort true feelings.
Words are shallow, only as sincere
As their speaker,
But eyes are the mirrors to the pathways
Of the human soul.
