Athletes and track officials nearly outnumbered spectators at Saturday's meet. But the sparse crowd was entertained by KU's dominance and some favorables for performances by KU track men. Sophomore Delvin Williams bettered his career mark in the 60-yard dash with a winning time of 8.2 seconds. "I THOUGHT there were a lot of people who didn't attend," Beach Timmons said Saturday after the Jayhawks last week. "The Big Sight meet March 3-4." "Hatcher vaulted really well. As a matter of fact the whole vaulting group did well." Timmons said.
