A final roll call vote is expected Tuesday in the 125-member chamber on both measures. If not approved, the vote will be Senate for further consideration. Although the lottery amend- ing for debate this week in the House it was a surprise Monday when it was advanced up for debate so Rep. Jess Taylor, R-Trubane, said it was moved up for debate Monday because several ways and means bills are to be con- cluded, and the leadership wanted the lottery issue settled before then.
