Bombing Bounty Due to Expire
A $2,000 reward offer for information concerning the bombing of Summerfield Hall on Dec. 11, will expire Feb. 12 unless the date is extended by the Douglas County Reward Fund.
A spokeswoman for the three-member board said "some information was immediately after the incident, but none had been received for him."
The expiration date was set 60 days before the offer date and must be received to be eligible for an award. Information must be received by the board before the expiration date.
The spokesman would not comment on the information
A sample of the lunar rocks gathered on the Apollo 12 moon flight will be displayed at a space science exhibit opening Tuesday Feb. 2 at the University of Florida Museum of Natural History.

The exhibit, built around the planet, offers photos of the moon, maps produced by the geology department, and illustrating the photos of meteorites and earth rocks similar in composition to those on the moon.
An art exhibit at the Spooner Art Museum will be on display tying in with the lunar theme, and will feature computer art by Shira. Schira., associate professor of printing and sculpture.

The reward will be given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the bombing which inadvertently caused an estimated $29,800 in damages to Summerfield Hall.
The address for submitting information is P.O. Box 15, Lawrence. Statements still may be submitted.
Information may be submitted anonymously in writing. For information, senders should write any six digit number, of his own choosing, at the end of the letter and again the beginning of the letter. The corner bearing the number should be torn off and saved as a receipt for claiming the reward.
The governing board of the fund is made up of representation from the Lawrence City Commission, the Lawrence City Commission and the University of Kansas administration. The fund is deliberately on financial contributions.
The KU Concert Course will present Nelson Freire, pianist, at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the University Theatre.
Freire, a 26-year-old Brazilian, was recognized as a child prodigy. He was granted a stipend to study in Vienna when a French diplomat offered him years he performed extensively in Europe and South America.
For his program at KU, he was named Student of Fugue in C. Miner*, Brashna Lissit* 'Hungarian Rhapsody and works of Schumann and Debussy.'
