Gooden is one step closer to becoming the John Wooden Player of the Year. The junior forward was named to the Wooden All-America team
yesterday with Duke guard Jason Williams, Gonzaga guard Dan Dickau, Maryland guard Juan Dixon and Cincinnati guard Steve Logan.
The Player of the Year will be announced April 7.
