Britain to Protect Ships From Cubans Page 5 LONDON—(UFI)—Britain's navy will protect British ships if they are attacked by Cuban exile Alpha 66 commandes on the high seas, an admiralty spokesman said today. No immediate measures have been taken by the navy and the British fleet in the Caribbean has not yet been reinforced to meet any such emergency, officials said. The British admiralty said it is the navy's duty "to safeguard legitimate interests" of all British ships on the high seas.
