Jackson to announce dates for comeback performance
LONDON — Michael Jackson was due to make a "special announcement" at a London music venue this week — expected to be confirmation of his first live concerts in years.

NEW YORK — This street has have a name — U2 Wav.
Part of Manhattan's West 53rd Street was temporarily renamed after the veteran Irish rockers Tuesday.
Scores of fans cheered from behind barricades as Mayor Michael Bloomberg and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn presented the band's four members with street signs bearing the name.
Frontman Bono said U2 was honored to join Manhattan's musical map, which also features Duke Ellington Boulevard and Joey Ramone Place.
The name change coincides with the release of U2's latest CD, "No Line on the Horizon." It also celebrates the group's weeklong gig on CBS "Late Show With David Letterman."
U2, a Dublin-based band, has sold tens of millions of records and become known for advocating for social justice.
