She says it appears to be a good deal at first, but many of the digital textbooks are sold as subscriptions that expire and digital textbooks have no buyback value. Most modern laptops use lithium-ion batteries. There is a processor in the battery that measures the charge left in the battery. Over time, the processor can misreport the charge.
