Three KU students were arrested for disorderly conduct between 12:50 a.m. and 12:57 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of New Hampshire Street. The students, who were all 21 years old or older, had been at the Bottleneck, 737 New Hampshire St., before they were approached by police. They were given notice to appear in court and released, Lawrence police reported. A camcorder valued at $800 and $300 in $20 bills were taken between 9 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday from a KU student's unlocked apartment in the 600 block of Gateway Court. The student had gone to someone else's apartment for a short time and returned to find her cash and camcorder gone, Lawrence police reported. The new BSU president is James Baucom, Topeka junior, and the vice president is Elliott Bailey, Kansas City Kan., sophomore.
