ON CAMPUS
Lesbian, Bisexual and Gay Services of Kansas will hold its weekly general meeting at 7 tonight in 4057 Wescoe.
CORRECTION
A confidential support group for people who are or think they may be bisexual, lesbian or gay will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. For more information and the location call Headquarters at 841-2345 or KU information at 864-3506.
Due to a reporter's error, a story on Page 1 of last week's Kansan contained incorrect information. The Department of Energy financed the Minorities/Women PresCollege Engineering Enrichment Program.
A semi-tractor trailer and a utility van belonging to First Management, 4343 W. Sixth St. were burglarized July 21 at the business, Lawrence police reported. Several drills, saws and other tools, valued together at $8,414, were taken.
The Bottleneck, 737 New Hampshire St., was burglarized after 2 a.m. July 20. Lawrence police reported. A total of $000 was taken from a safe and a cash register.
A compact disc player and some jewelry, valued together at $1.350 were taken July 19 from a student's apartment in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street, Lawrence police reported. Two cans of beer also were taken.
