Fred DeVictor, director of the city parks and recreation department, said the department was grateful for the assistance the groups provided. "The city has made new trails for us," Davis said. "We want to be sure that our trails will be taken care of. It gives us some control in taking care of the services we use." "We have been blessed with a wide variety of support over the years," DeVictor said. "This is just how we acknowledge their contributions. We couldn't do it without them."
