The American Geologist For Moech has a book by Dr. Alexander Winchell which treats of conglomerates and conjugitive appearances in granites. As calls attention to numerous instances, some of them ignored and forgotten by geologists, in which such conglomerates have been described in America and Europe. He concludes that such publicly aspects indicate unmistakably the sedimentary fragmental condition of the granites in which they are found, and inferentially on granites in general, Prof. N. H. (Winchell), another paper, gives an account of the establishment and development of this area on faunal science at the University of Minnesota. This paper is given by a fine plate of the University Dr. A. C. Lawson, of the geological survey of Canada, has an argumentative reply to some littleleries it that had been made by Dr. Winchell of some his work in the region of the Lake of the Woods.
