Prof. Wilcox then said that at one time the women of Sparta were in possession of all the property.
Mr. John H. Henderson read: "Is there Humor in Puritan Literature?" However broad a definition may be used, the element of humor is debarred from the writings of the Puritans. Emphatically there is no humor in Puritan literature. Passages to support the views advanced were given.
