Here Ferbert is substituted for Dygert. Johnson punts for twenty yards. Then Hollister, behind good interference, adds thirty yards, and U. of M. is in ten yards of goal. K. Surely but slowly Ann Arbor works the ball down the field for sixty-five yards, but loses the ball on a fumble. Johnson punts on the third down for fifteen yards. Then Ferbert passes the ball to Hollister on a criss-cross, and Michigan's sprinter carries the ball for forty-five yards and a touch-down, Johnson failing to tackle. Griffin missed an easy goal.
