Again the University is called upon to mourn the loss of one of her most talented sons. On the 16th of October, Justin P. Jack, of the class of '84, died in Colorado, of that lingering disease, consumption. While a student of K. S. U., Mr. Jack had drawn to himself many warm friends, who deeply feel his loss. He was a good student, and a noble and respected man. His remains were brought to Lawrence and here interred, his brothers in Phi Delta Theta, of which he was a charter member, acting as pall bearers.
