The boys who went to Boulder, Colorado, were treated as enemies and antagonists rather than as friends and representatives of a sister university. They were taken to a fifteen cent boarding club for supper and Colorado even thought they ought to have made the trip from Kansas to Colorado without lunch. At any rate they objected to paying for it. At the debate the audience was positively hostile. In every way they tried to torment our representatives and after the debate they were left to walk alone back to their lodgings, a distance of a mile and a half.
