The resolution introduced by Senator Dickinson of Texas, having been previously referred to the judiciary committee, was reported favorably to the senate. The senate meets in regular session every Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel. It is to be regretted that the sessions are held with closed doors, as numerous requests have come of late for the privilege of visiting the senate while in session.
