Prof. Bailey and Mr. Whitton are preparing a paper for the University Quarterly on "Kansas Gypsum." The class in organic chemistry is doing some excellent work under Dr. Bartow, and all of the Pharmics are glad that they decided to take this course. The Senior Pharmacy students have made arrangements towards having an annual, and committees are hard working at it, in order to make it a great success. Mr. Whitton of the chemistry department is analyzing a sample of paint. Such work requires a great deal of patience and Mr. Whitton is not particularly struck with the job. The Senior Arts decided in their last class meeting to invite the Senior Pharmies to join them in their annual instead of getting one of their own, and a committee has been appointed to visit the Pharmics. The Pharmacy students will probably join hands. On last Saturday afternoon the Women's League entertained the young women of the University at the home of Professor Olin. A very pleasant afternoon was passed. The question box was opened and question of etiquette were discussed by a committee of faculty ladies. Much of the pleasure of the afternoon was due to the musical selections rendered by the Misses Scott, Spalding and Stanford. Just what you want: those gymnasium suits sold at Smith's News stand.
