The honors were evenly divided as to individual play. Fitzpatrick the Kansas left guard played the game of his life. Baine, Voights and Kennedy also did splendid work, Baine's run being the prettiest one of the season. Whitney and Sanderson outplayed the Nebraska ends both in blocking, punts and getting down the field.
Thorpe and Shedd played the game behind the line while Whipple and Wiggins were particularly strong in breaking through the line.
The officials were: Lieutenant Smith, U. S. A. umpire; Fred Cornell of Lincoln, referee; Mr. Fisher of Doane College, linesman.
