NATION AND WORLD Queen ends trip to Kenya, revisits lodge By United Press International NYERI, Kenya — Queen Elizabeth II fulfilled a 31-year-old promise in a somber mood yesterday by returning to the remote safari lodge where she learned that her father, King George III died and that she had become queen. The visit to Treetops was the long-awaited climax of the queen's five-day visit to the former British colony in east Africa. In a mood described as somber by a palace spokesman, the 57-year-old monarch returned to the lodge deep in the Aberdare forest where she was told of her father's death in London Feb. 5, 1952. Australians arrest anti-missile protesters By United Press International ALICE SPRINGS, Australia — Police arrested 59 anti-nuclear protesters yesterday when they forced their way into the top-secret, joint U.S.-Australian military base at Pine Gan in central Australia. Skirmsis broke out when police removed more than 100 women protesters who were trying to erect tents and banners inside the security fence of a police station in south of Alice Springs in Australia's 57 women. Police arrested 57 women. More than 700 women are camped outside the base for a two-week vigil to demonstrate against the installation of American missiles.
