Black leaders criticize Reagan By United Press International WASHINGTON — A massive rally demanding fulfillment of Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of equality made clear the message that President Reagan had no part in that vision, black leaders said yesterday. Joseph Lowery, president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Black leaders said that Saturday's rally, like the 1963 march it was commemorating, attracted 250,000 people to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Five die in air mishap; 8 missing Police searching wooded country for survivors By United Press International SYDNEY, Australia — Five men were killed and another eight were missing and feared dead in the crash of a light plane yesterday in the heavily wooded country of central Queensland, police said. The flight from Windorah to Towoomba in Queensland was logged as carrying 12 oil construction workers, police said. They could not establish, however, whether the plane picked up an additional oil rig crew of seven men. Police said that they were uncertain how many men were aboard the twin-engine Beechercraft Super King Air when it crashed near Adavale, 540 miles north of Brisbane. Five bodies were removed from the wrecked rear section of the plane, police said this morning. Police were still searching the rough, heavily timbered country for the fuselage. Wreckage from the plane was scattered across 1.5 miles south of Adavale, police said. Police from surrounding towns were searching the area. A spokesman said that if the seven oil workers and the pilot were on board when the plane crashed, they had no chance for survival. The town's sole policeman was alerted to the crash when a group of people at a barbecue saw a fire some distance from the town. Witnesses told doctors they heard a loud explosion seconds before the plane crashed, although Bill McConnell, a nurse who did not burst into flames on impact.
