Both Mr. Stauffer publisher of The Topeka State Journal and president of Stauffer Publications, and Mrs. Stauffer were graduated from Emporia High School, and Mr. StauFFER worked for William Allen White on The Emporia Gazette for two years before enrolling in the University. The program included "Prelude and Fugue in D Major" by Bach-Busoni; "Sonata Opus 10, No. 3" by Beethoven; "Sonata Opus 46, No. 3" by Kabalevsky, and all 24 "Preludes, Opus 28" by Chopin.
