Scholarship Exams To Be Held Feb.20
About 700 high school students are expected to take the preliminary examinations for Summerfield and Watkins scholarships Feb. 20, Spencer E. Martin, director of aids and awards said Wednesday.
The examinations will be given in Lawrence, Colby, Dodge City, Chanute, Salina, and Wichita and will last from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour and a half break at noon.
At present 305 applicants for Watkins scholarships and 340 for Summerfield scholarships have been received.
