'Game Of Week Planned By NL CHICAGO —(U.P.)-Baseball was ready today to compromise with the forces which believe it's unfair for the sport to meddle with established radio and television agreements. The National League had a proposition which it said would meet all challenges—a $3 million "Game of the Week" television broadcast in which the fans would continue "to see for free" and radio and TV stations throughout the country would not lose commercial contracts, and the minor leagues would benefit enough to stay in business.
