Kansas coach Pepper Rodgers put his Jayhawks through an unusually hard Monday practice and said "we want to do everything we can to salvage something out of this season."
Rodgers, still stinging from Saturday's 44-20 loss to Iowa State, said, "I would say we've worked harder to have a good team than we have in the past. Things sometimes just don't work out that way.
