The fall in the second half
It was homecoming in Ames and Iowa State made the most of it, placing Kansas on the losing end of a well played game.
For the first half of the game, Jayhawk fans got to remember how everything used to be, too.
The fans saw sophomore quarterback, Phil Basler, play well and remembered All-American Bobby Douglass.
But the second half was another story. The memories of last year vanished and the only thoughts were of the present—where nothing seems to be going KU's way.
