Which One? Santa's Confused!
No longer will Santa be confused. The Chimneys on Bailey are going down.
The chimneys which have been a prominent part of the KU skyline since 1899 are being razed as a part of a general remodeling plan. They were constructed to provide ventilation for laboratories that used to occupy the building. The laboratorys have been moved to the new science building, Malott hall.
After the remodeling is completed Bailey will be occupied by the education department.
