Phone 3450R. tf Fieldhouse Plan Gets Last Check The final check on plans and specifications for the 16,000 - capacity University of Kansas physical education armory and fieldhouse will be made Tuesday morning in Topeka at the office of Charles Marshall, the state architect. The plans will then be made available to contractors for preparation of bids to be submitted in mid-January. The K.U. fieldhouse committee will go to Topeka for the final conference on the plans. Members are Dean T. DeWitt Carr, Prof. George M. Beal, Dr. F. C. Allen, Arthur C. Lonborg and J. J. Wilson. The 1949 legislature appropriated $750,000 for the structure.
