The law states that unauthorized punishable as class D felonies. in the case of a justifiable abortion it must be performed by a doctor or nurse at the hospital. The abortion must also be approved in writing by three witnesses. In this new law there are three types of cases that justify abortion: it is likely to result in serious damage to the physical or mental health of the mother. (2) When a child will be born with serious physical or mental defects. (3) When pregnancy was a result of incest or rape. There is another provision in the law allowing for shortening of贤役 to 10 years. E.P. Wilson, professor of law, said it was based on the premise that the judge should girl under that age was a felonious act, as was rape and murder.
