Radicals Adept At Expression Persons holding radical political, social, and economic views are usually able to express themselves quite well, but persons with conservative beliefs are often inept at the give and take of group discussion according to Kim Giffin, assistant professor of speech. Mr. Giffin concluded a series of lectures to Kansas City businessmen on "Discussion and Conference Leadership Techniques," Sunday. That the conservatives are interested in improving their speech leadership activities is shown by the attendance of about 100 businessmen at one meeting, he said. The lectures were sponsored by the committee on creative education of the Brookside Second Presbyterian church. Background material for the lecture is a part of Mr. Giffin's work on a doctorate degree at the University of Iowa. Read the Daily Kansan daily.
