To dress up the less-than-beautiful huts the building and grounds department is painting the Quonset huts a light green. It has been necessary to wait until now to paint the walls of the building that has to become weathered before it take painting, Raymond Nichols, executive secretary, said today. Screening the Quonset huts and blending them into the landscape is also being tried by planting trees around them Mr. Nichols added. The trees are evergreens which do the job throughout the year.
