Shoemaker, chairman of the romance languages department, is an associate editor of Spanish literature for the magazine, Symposium, published by Syracuse university. Symposium is a magazine devoted to comparative literature. It contains articles in French, Spanish, and German, and deals with every literature except English. The only articles in English are those pertaining to the literature of other countries. Symposium follows in the tradition of "Revue de Litterature Comparee," a magazine, published in Paris, which died during the war. Lemon Adds A 'Tana' Mercedes.
