Black Parents Aid Youths
The Lawrence Branch of Concerned Black Parents made its first appearance before the Chamber of Commerce "Eggs and Issues" breakfast Saturday morning at the Holiday Inn.
The organization operates on the premise that black children have additional educational needs and problems, said Barbara Sabol, chairman of the organization. She added that the organization will attempt to make members of the school system more aware of problems faced by black youths.
What the organization is doing to aid the students seems like a slow process to them, Mrs. Sabol
