To Ask State Aid In Student Housing The University has received permission from the state board of regents to appeal to the governor's emergency fund board for $75,000 to aid in student housing, Raymond Nichols, executive secretary, said today. If granted, the money will be used to move buildings from a war plant site to the University to house from 300 to 400 men students, Mr. Nichols said. The money alloted universities throughout the country for veteran housing by the Meade bill was used by K.U. to provide the 185 units now under construction on "Sunny-side," Mr. Nichols added.
