KANSAS PAGE THREE Girls' State Alumnae Club to Give Picnic at Potter Lake Tomorrow Members of the Girls' State Alumnae Club will have a picnic at 6 p.m. tomorrow at Potter Lake, Elizabeth Baker, president of the organization, announced today. All women who belong to the club and any women who have attended a session of Girls' State here or in another state, are invited to attend, she said. Lieutenant and Mrs. Woodbury will be at home at the Ajo army airfield in Ajo, Ariz., following a short honeymoon. Former Students' Wedding Announced Miss Mildred Welch, daughter of Mrs. Albert Summerfield Welch, of Kansas City, Mo., was married May 22 in Los Angeles to Mr. Donald C. Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Ward. The bride attended the University of Kansas from 1942-43. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Mr. Ward, a student at the University from 1941-42, was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. At present they are living in Beverly Hills, Calif.
