The Cyclones scored 91½ points to the Jayhawks 39½. Lillibridge won the 190-yard dash in 10.3 seconds; Stannard took the high hurdles in 15.1, and the low hurdles in 24.8 seconds. In the javelin throw Robison won by the toss of 167 feet 8 inches. Lillibridge took the broad jump in 21 feet $11^{3/4}$ inches and was second in the 220-yard dash. Bergin tied in the high jump at 5 feet 8 inches, and tied for third in the broad jump. Supply Department The supply department of the Naval Training School held a picnic last night at Clinton Park. To Interview Students Lt. (jg) Edith D. Norris With headquarters at the office of the adviser of women Lt. (j.g.) Edith D. Norris will interview University women concerning enlistment in the Womens Auxiliary Volunteer Enlistment Service during the three days starting tomorrow. Wave Will Confer With KU Women Arrangements have been made for Lt. (j.g.) Edith D. Norris, WAVE recruiting officer, to talk to senior girls interested in joining the WAVE's. She will have a desk in the office of Miss Elizabeth Meguiar, adviser of women, to interview girls tomorrow through Thursday. Lieutenant Norris will visit any of the organized houses to talk to women about officer candidate school. Appointments for this may be made through Miss Miller's office. Plans were made at a meeting of the presidents of the organized houses in the office of Miss Elizabeth Meguiar, dean of women last week. Lieutenant Norris will be 'at the University tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday visiting the organized houses to talk with women who are considering joining the armed forces. She will also have a desk in Miss Meguiar's office, when she has no other appointments, to talk to anyone who cares to obtain more information on the subject. The WAVE's need to increase their membership to 100,000 by 1945. Lt. Norris stated in a letter written to Miss Marie Miller, assistant to the adviser of women. Women who are graduating are eligible for office's candidate school, and may apply for it without having to serve as enlisted women first. Miss Meguiar told the representatives of the houses that they were not "urging or putting any force on girls to join"; that they only wanted to give a chance to those interested to receive any information desired, and this was an opportunity to serve in the war effort. At Hutchinson, Wichita East won their regional by the overwhelming score of $131\frac{1}{2}$ points, followed by Hutchinson with $42\frac{1}{2}$ and Kingman with 21. Clearwater won in Class B with 38 points ahead of Halstead with 29. The East Aces will now be heavily favored to take the state meet this week at Wichita by virtue of their dispal of power Saturday. Wichita North, Topeka, and Shawnee-Mission are expected to battle it out for runner-up honors in Class A. Clearwater seems to have an edge over the other Class B schools, with Halstead, Haven, and others close behind. Robert Bock Is Transferred To University of Cincinnati Robert Bock, former sports editor of the Daily Kansan, has been transferred from Sheppard Field to the University of Cincinnati where he is in the College Training Detachment. As one of 400 in a non-soldier city, Bock says it is like a dream to be in a dormitory with two-man rooms, and on a beautiful campus running over with coeds. "And do we mind?" says he. "We are still asking if it isn't all a dream." He will conduct the broadcasts from the first American owned an operated radio station in Britain, set up by the office of war information. Formerly executive producer for Columbia Broadcasting system in New York, Morgan received his bachelor of arts degree in 1926 and his master's degree in 1927. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa; Phi Delta Theta, social fraternity, Sigma Delt Chi, journalism fraternity; and Phi Sigma Alpha, political science fraternity.
