At that time University of Kansas fans will get their first view of Gerald Tucker, Oklahoma sophomore standout, in intercollegiate action. Tucker made 19 points in Oklahoma's opener against Southern Methodist, and is expected to finish the season high among Big Six scorers. Sooner Coach Bruce Drake's squad left Norman yesterday for an eastern and northern trip, the first stop of which will be a game with St. John's in Madison Square Garden Saturday. His boys will then meet De Paul, Bradley Tech, and George Washington University before the contest with the Jayhawkers. Despite their inexperience, the Sooners have their tallest and heaviest team of the last 13 years. The height average is about 6 feet. 2 inches, and the weight average 180 pounds. Only returning regulars from last year, however, are Paul Heap, rebound man, and A. D. Roberts, the team chatter-box. On Road Trip Now The lineup against the University of Kansas will probably be Roberts and Dick Reich forwards, Tucker at center, and Heap and Tom Rousey, guards. However, Bob McCurdy, promising sophomore, may get a call for a starting guard birth in place of Rousey. BY BILL PORTER A towering Pi K.A. five continued its march toward intramural basketball championship last night by turning in a 56 to 16 victory over Kappa Eta Kappa. Everybody scored for Pi K.A. as Bill Mathews, Joe Crawford, and Bill Atwell chalked up 16, 10, and 9 points respectively in a scoring barrage. The K.E.K. five-man squad put up a tough resistance at first, then was swamped by the stronger material that Pi K.A. threw into the battle material that Pi K.A. threw into the battle. Beta Theta Pi took its first win of the current season by defeating A. K. Psi 44 to 24. The game was close in the first quarter and ended 20 to 13 for the Beta's at the half. In the second half Bill Mowery and John Fletcher set a scoring example which was taken up by their teammates, and the final bell found the Beta's with a 20-point lead. Theta Tau also chalked up an impressive win from Alpha Chi Sigma, 51 to 7. Moser led the engineer scoring with 23 points, and was followed by Domingo and Anderson with 15 and 10. Jenkins Sets Record In the "B" divisions, Phi Delt "B" defeated A. K. Psi "B" 52 to 14 in a game which saw John Jenkins, Phi Delt scoring ace, chalk up 27 points for what is probably the record for intramural play this year. A. K. Psi coach, Bill Collin- son, went in at guard for his own team, and found that his boys weren't tall enough to control the rebounds and had trouble penetrating the Phi Delt defense. MERRY CHRISTMAS Sigma Chi "B" turned in another win last evening, this time 37 to 2 Every One — And Thanks 4 the Year of 40 and 1. Open 'til 9 p.m. Every Nite 23 over T.K.E. "B". Bud Adams was again the Sigma Chi standout, scoring 19 points. Teke's put up a strong resistance all the way, with Henry Ferro sinking 11 tallies.
