Old English customs, costumes and songs predominated at Corbin hall's formal Christmas dinner last night. While carolling greeted the guests from an upstairs window, the Lord and Lady of Corbin Manor received guests announced with fanfare. Before dinner, wawail was passed by hostesses dressed as pages and ladies-in-waiting; during the dinner several old English carrots were sung by the group and led by the Corbin hall sextet. Later the Yule log was dragged in and wishes were made on it by Miss Edna Hill and Professor E. E. Bayles. Many guests were faculty members of the University and of Kansas State College.
