Dread High School is Renamed University High
Oread High School, senior high school directed by the University of Kansas School of Education, has been renamed the University High School, chancellor Deane W. Malott has announced. The change has been approved by the Board of Regents. The school was first organized in the fall of 1911, and was conducted in layers hall until 1915 when the present building was constructed on the eastern slope of the University ampus.
